Our Most-Ordered Diwali Piece — and the Idea Behind It
Some products happen by accident. The Crochet Car Charm started as a custom request and became our most talked-about festive gift. Here's the story.

Not every product starts with a plan.
Some of the best ones start with a message that says: "Can you make something
like this?"
How the Car Charm happened
The request came in simply enough — someone wanted a handmade charm for their
brother's new car. Something that could hang from the rear-view mirror.
Something that felt personal, not like something picked up at a petrol station
or a roadside stall.
There wasn't one in the shop at the time. So it got made.
What came back was a small cotton crochet charm — soft, hand-stitched, with
just enough weight to swing gently while driving. The customer called it
"very unique." Her brother agreed.
That single custom request became the
Crochet Car Charm.
Why it's become a festive favourite
In India, Dussehra and Diwali are among the most auspicious times of year to
buy a new vehicle. Families plan car purchases around these dates. Showrooms
run offers. And the person who just got the keys to something new deserves
something more thoughtful than a sweet box to go with it.
A handmade car charm fits that moment perfectly. It's personal. It's made in
India. It lasts as long as the car does. And every time the driver glances at
the rear-view mirror, there it is — a small handmade thing, swinging quietly,
made by someone who took the time.
At ₹280, it's the kind of gift that lands well above its price point.
What it looks like
The charm is made from soft cotton yarn, hand-crocheted in Greater Noida. It
comes in three colours — yellow, off-white, and pink — and is light enough
to hang without looking heavy, but present enough to actually notice.
No two pieces are identical. Each one is made by hand, which means the one you
receive has a very slight difference from every other one in existence. That's
not a flaw. That's the point.
This is what custom orders do
That first car charm request didn't just create a product. It showed us
something about what people actually want during the festive season — not more
of the same, but something made specifically for a specific person and a
specific moment.
